My Last Holiday

I will tell you about my holiday.

On my holiday, I spent my time with my family.

We went to traveling around Bandung. We went to some places in Bandung.

We went to "Sha-waregna" that located in Sindang Sirna street no. 21 Bandung, Gegerkalong, Sukasari, Bandung. In Sha-waregna, we can eat as much as we want by paying Rp.55.000 . We went there with an empty stomach, because if we are not eat all the food that we take, we wil get a charge by paying Rp.15.000. And in Sha-waregna serve alot of The special food in Bandung. we ate happily in there.

And also, we waited my elder brother to came to our home at 27 December. After he came, we went to Garut next day. Andwe walked around Garut and next day we waited again for my father. so we just stayed at home. after we gathered we spent our time together, walking around in Bandung. 

I really enjoyed my holiday. 

Waitomo Glowworm Cave

Waitomo Glowworm Caves, New Zealand 

   

         The Waitomo Glowworm Caves attraction is a cave at Waitomo on the North Island of New Zealand. It is known for its population of Arachnocampa luminosa, a glowworm species found exclusively in New Zealand. This cave is part of the Waitomo Caves system that includes the Ruakuri Cave and the Aranui Cave.

      The Waitomo Glowworm Caves are located in the southern Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand, 12 km northwest of Te Kuiti. This cave is about 2 hours south of Auckland, 1 hour south of Hamilton, and 2 hours west of Rotorua by car. The directions to the Caves are to exit State Highway 3 onto Waitomo Caves Road and to continue on the road for about 8 km.

      The attraction has a modern visitor centre at the entrance, largely designed in wood. There are organized tours that include a boat ride under the glowworms.

      The name "Waitomo" comes from the Māori words wai, water and tomo, hole or shaft. The local Māori people had known about the caves for quite some time before the local Māori Chief Tane Tinorau and an English surveyor, Fred Mace, did an extensive exploration in 1887.Their exploration was conducted with candlelight on a raft going into the cave where the stream goes underground (now the cave's tourist exit.) As they began their journey, they came across the Glowworm Grotto and were amazed by the twinkling glow coming from the ceiling. As they travelled further into the cave by poling themselves towards an embankment, they were also astounded by the limestone formations. These formations surrounded them in all shapes and sizes.

      They returned many times after and Chief Tane independently discovered the upper level entrance to the cave, which is now the current entrance. By 1889 Tane Tinorau and his wife Huti had opened the cave to visitors and were leading groups for a small fee. In 1906, after an escalation in vandalism, the administration of the cave was taken over by the government. In 1910 the Waitomo Caves Hotel was built to house the many visitors.

      In 1989, the land and cave were returned to the descendants of Chief Tane Tinorau and Huti who comprise many of the employees of the caves today.The descendants receive a percentage of the cave’s revenue and are involved in its management and development.

       World-renowned and a magnet for both local and overseas visitors, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves occupy a high placing in the New Zealand vacation wish-list.

      The glowworm, Arachnocampa luminosa, is unique to New Zealand. T​housands of these tiny creatures radiate their unmistakable luminescent light as expert guides provide informative commentary on the Caves' historical and geological significance.

      Marvel at Mother Nature's light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto by using a boat. Meander underground along the Waitomo River and gaze in silence at the myriad of glow worm lights that make up the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you'll immediately experience a serene ambience and be fascinated and intrigued by tiny glowworms that light your way.

On Saturday 30 September 2017, 3 National Highscool held an annual art and literature event called Gathapraya 2017.

All 10th grade students carry out a parade from Saparua Field to Bali Field. the parade went smoothly from 9 am to 11 am.

then Gathapraya perform open gate at 12 noon and close gate at 4 pm. the show has started from 12 noon. gathapraya attended also by many guest stars including:

-Nidji                             -Didik Nini Thowok                   -Giri Harja

-HIVI                             -Soul Etnic                                     -Ele voice

-Elephant Kind          -Vina Candrawati                        -Drizzling Dancer

-KPA3, MK3, LSS3, T'ST, KV3, Band3

and also there are many art exhibitions as well as many food stalls as well as food trucks.

Festival of Arts, Literature, and Culture was held very crowded, also successful until the evening around 11 o'clock.

  Dyah and Intan just finished a final exam. And then Intan, start the conversation,
                  
Intan:"Diy.. finally we finished this semester!"

Dyah:"Yeah, finally! we did it well. I can't wait to go on holiday!"

Intan:"Yeah, me too.Anyway, do you have any plan for a holiday?"

Dyah:"Of course, I do have a plan.I will go with my family for a traveling and refreshing. And also usually, I spend the New Year's Eve together, with my family.

Intan:"Owhh.. that's must be so fun!"

Dyah:"Yeah, what about you? what will you do for the holiday? do you have any plan?"


Intan:"Yas. Me and my family will go to my grandparent's house at Jakarta. And the rest of holiday     my family and i will go to Yogyakarta."

Dyah:"Oh, that's sound interesting. By the way, where do you usually go with your family at               Yogyakarta?"

Intan:"Usually i go to Malioboro street for shopping or Borobudur temple."
Dyah:"Oh, I dont really like to go to Maliboro because the weather is very hot."

*Then the bell is ringing

Intan:"Yeyy, Its time to go home. Have fun on your holiday, Diy!"

Dyah:"Yap. You too, tan!"

Grateful Moment

Hello
Today I want to tell you about my grateful moment.

When I was 8 grade in Darul Hikam Junior Highschool, I went to the math courses at the end of school. When I went to the course is 4 pm and I started to work on my question letter. And then once I checked my phone, its low batt already. and then I finished at 6 o'clock less and I tried to contact my mom with chat at Line, WhatsApp but she's not responded. Why I'm not calling her? because I didn't have any pulse. Poor me. But suddenly, I remember that my best friend had my mother number. So, I contact her and ask for help to contact(calling) my mom and she said yes and she said my mom answered her already. Hear that good news from her, I'm really grateful because of her. Finally, my mom picked me up. I'm really thankful to her. and then, when I asked my mom why she's not answered me and she said there are no messages from me. and when I'm finally at home, my mom said "Wow, the message just arrived." and my reaction just like"...What?". But i really grateful i can finally come home. Thank you my best friend :).
